The holy spot like Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, The Church of St. Alex Curtorim and Church of St. Francis of Assisi have the magical appeal of enchanting one’s heart and mind. In addition to these, the place also treasures a number of missionaries and convent learning centers. All the churches were built during 16th to 17th century and witness the ruling dynasties of Portuguese and British Rulers. The construction clearly depicts the unique blend of Renaissance and Baroque styles. This influential style can be easily understood with a glimpse of the local houses and their interiors.
