You should always consider what you wear. The attire can accurately tell who you are and what lies beneath that bag of yours. Every place can be different but nothing beats simplicity. If you are heading to the East side countries where most places are still developing, it is would not be wise to wear signature clothes or branded shoes. This may not only make some kind of commotion but can also attract the eyes of those prowling thieves. In addition, some countries are reprimanding wearing of clothes that are revealing. Dress simply to avoid any trouble. You can dress what the locals will wear. If this is necessary, buy those you often see them wear.

There is also a perception that because women are considered weaker than men in terms of the muscle strength, they are said to be more vulnerable to get mobbed. You could choose to stay in parts of the town that is considered safe but then again you will be defeating the main reason for traveling. You will miss all the fun of being a traveler.

Remember to bring your medicines. If you know that traveling makes you sick, you better have something to prevent these occurrences to happen. If you do have asthma, hypertension or any type of illness which can strike you anywhere, always have a solution by bringing your prescribed medicines. Never wait to reach a point where you have to stop everything or to be rerouted to the nearest hospital.
